The Ministry of Energy uses SAInt to model the Peruvian electricity network's operation by running a nodal production cost model of their electricity network. The model was validated by encoord for a one-year simulation against the Peruvian electricity network operator's public data. As part of their planning studies, the Ministry can model the national electricity network's short-term operation under potential future conditions and scenarios, including higher penetrations of wind and solar power.
